Flight Simulation
Flight simulation refers to the very lifelike imitation of the actual flying experience. It has a highly vital and totally indispensable role to play in the military as well as in commercial flying, wherein landscapes and airplane control panels are simulated so that pilots are able to practice operating an airplane in flight. The students can learn basic maneuvering, cockpit control, and navigation while still grounded. However, it is not used as much to teach pilots to fly the aircraft than to accustom them to potential problem situations and the way out of trouble. In this regard, hazardous weather conditions, unfriendly landing terrain and other emergency situations are simulated to acquaint the new pilot with quick emergency operations and reactions without putting him through real risks as when airborne.
