Locking Down Workstations
In recent years abuse has escalated. Workers are installing software indiscriminately-MP3 players, games, spyware, unlicensed software, etc.-at the same time that corporate networks are becoming more tightly integrated with critical data and applications. The result is a helpdesk nightmare, as well as an at-risk IT infrastructure.
