Do You Lie On Skype?
By Lockergnome | December 15, 2006
Jimmy Daniels of RealTechNews writes:
In addition to starting to charge for its service, Skype has announced it will be including a free “lie detector” to go with it.
Callers using Internet phone system Skype who might be tempted to tell a few porkies should beware - the user on the other end may have a lie detector.
Skype is to offer the KishKish Lie Detector, which is made by BATM, as an add-on for customers.
It analyses audio streams over a Skype call in real time and illustrates the stress levels of the other person. [Source: BBC]
We Say: So, if your routine includes lying to whoever you are talking, be prepared for them to say “I don’t believe you!” For some reason I can see this causing problems in some relationships; reminds me of that cell phone commercial about the dead spots in the connection - “cat got your tongue?”
