No more YouTube Videos on this Site!
By Geek News Central | January 12, 2007
Over the past week as we had been putting videos up on this site and also sending them over to YouTube I was really disappointed with how YouTube was destroying the Video quality on the playback of the postings.
I decided to give Blip.TV a try and for now on all Videos that I put up on this site will be through Blip.TV. Here is the issue though their code links to an actual file on their system. This invokes a RSS feed enclosure. So here is how I will mitigate this.
The Podcast page will not be having anymore videos posted to it only the hyperlink to my master file. The main page will not have a link to the physical file but will have the link to the Blip.TV posting this will eliminate any double enclosures.
If you have not checked out Blip.TV make sure you do.
