  • Bizarre London

Being weird, unusual, and bizarre is not something that is limited to your local area, or even the United States. It can be global, heck, it might even be universal. But today’s Warped site takes to a good friend of ours, and sees what is going on in its backyard.

The name of the site is Bizarre London, and is part of the larger Web site . If you spend some time on this site, you’ll realize the we crazy Americans don’t have a lock on being unusual.

    For example:

    • A pet shop owner was fined 500 pounds for selling a hamster without a license
    • A burglar was arrested after asking a policeman for help carrying his stolen items (a most definite Darwin nominee)
    • There is a marketing campaign to get miserable commuters to be nice to each other
    • Two police officers have apologized for leaving a filthy message on a single mother’s answering machine

The British have a very dry sense of humor, and these stories, and the others show that. It is tough to keep a stiff upper lip when you’re making a fool out of yourself. The Warp-o-Meter gives this site a 6.5.
