Wacky Web Tales
By Lockergnome | March 5, 2007
How about a good story? Nothing serious, just some good clean stories for kids ages eight and up (but discriminating adults can read as well.) If so, then head on over to today’s Warped site.
Today’s Warped site is a mixture of fairy tales and the Internet. Called Wacky Web Tales, this site is a collection of stories that appeal to younger viewers. Some of the titles include “A Crazy Night at the Library,” “The Haunted Tower,” “The Mummy,” and “Lessons Aesop Never Taught.” But there is more to this than just reading the story. Before you can start to read, you have to put in some words, such as verbs, nouns, adjectives, etc. There is a help section that can assist you if you need it (I know I did).
So input your words, and then enjoy your story. It is a lighthearted site, one that doesn’t require a lot of thinking. Share it with the younger crowd. The Warp-o-Meter gives this site 6.5.
