How To Get PSP Downloads

by JJ Cantabria

If you’ve just bought your PSP you are probably concerned about the prices of the games. One alternative to buying games is to download them from websites. You need to be careful however as some sites are illegal while others are legal. Many free sites have proved to be illegal whereas the membership style sites are legal.

You can either join one where you will be expected to pay either a yearly or monthly subscription fee or there are ones which just you require you to pay a one time life time membership fee. Both of these kinds of sites will then generally allow you unlimited access to all the games that they have stored within their databases.

Downloading files for you PSP is a simple as downloading then files to your PC then transferring them to your PSP. You should of course make sure that you have the right software on you PC first of all.

All of the most reputable membership sites should provide you with the correct software. The first step to getting the files is to sign up to one of the sites. Choose whether you want the monthly payment which is usually around $15 or a one time membership site what will cost you in the region of $39 for unlimited lifetime access. After your payment has been confirmed you’ll have access to the correct software and the sites database of files. You can then start to download the games and movies you want.

You’ll first download the games or movies to your local hard drive on your PC or laptop. Once you have them then it’s time to transfer them to your PSP. The membership site you’ve chosen should provide you with easy to follow instructions. Of all the sites we reviewed PSPnerd had by far the best.

Now that you have the files on your PC it’s time to transfer them to your PSP. You can do this using 2 simple methods. Either connect your PSP to your PC or laptop via a USB cable and transfer the files directly to the correct folder on your PSP or use a compatible memory stick. To use a memory stick you need to first copy the files from the PC to the memory stick and then place the memory stick into the PSP.

If you use the USB method your PSP should show up immediately. You then just need to drag and drop the files to the correct folder. This is by far the easiest method and a child should be able to complete it without any problems. The only problems happen id you have used the wrong file type of transferred the files to the wrong folder.

If you haven’t downloaded games to your PC before or are not sure how to do it then you should check out the reviews of the different PSP download sites. There are some significant differences between them all.
